Dr. Isaac Wentz is a board-certified psychiatrist with fellowship training in forensic psychiatry. He maintains active clinical practice in hospital and correctional settings while providing independent psychiatric evaluations for workers’ compensation, legal, and medico-legal matters.
Dr. Wentz completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, where he trained across inpatient, emergency, forensic, and community mental health settings. He subsequently completed a Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of California, Davis School of Medicine, receiving specialized training in competency evaluations, violence risk assessments, civil commitment matters, and correctional psychiatry.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Wentz serves as a California Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) and provides independent psychiatric evaluations for workers’ compensation and medico-legal cases.
